Features: Bai Shouyi (1909-2000), a Hui ethnic native of Kaifeng, Henan. Early in his career, he graduated from the Institute of Chinese Studies at Yanjing University and dedicated himself to historical teaching and research for many years. Part A, the Preface, summarizes and reviews the research on the history of the Hui ethnic group in China over the past century. Part B, the Overview, presents a chronological survey of the history of the Hui ethnic group in China. Part C, the Monographs, supplements the Overview by delving into specific issues in depth. Part D, the Biographies, selects the biographies of 150 Hui ethnic figures from the Yuan Dynasty to the present, showcasing their contributions to the Chinese nation. In terms of format, this book is similar to General History of China, edited by Professor Bai Shouyi, and the two can be considered sister works. The publication of this book is expected to have a significant impact on academia.
