In the 20th century, a unique individual shocked the world through her courageous approach. She—Helen Keller, a woman who lived in darkness yet brought light to humanity, who spent 88 years of her life but endured 87 years of darkness, silence, and isolation. Yet, this woman confined to the world of blindness, deafness, and silence not only graduated from Radcliffe College at Harvard University but also devoted her entire life to establishing charitable institutions for the benefit of the disabled, being named one of the top ten American heroes of the 20th century by Time magazine. This miracle was achieved entirely through an indomitable spirit. Helen accepted the challenges of life, embraced the world with love, and faced adversity with astonishing perseverance, ultimately finding the light of life in the darkness. Then, with loving hands, she reached out to the world.
