Features: In extremely harsh weather, no one should be walking in this ice and snow. Yet, at the moment when dawn was approaching, two people were seen trudging silently toward the boundless distance. The two ran one in front of the other, maintaining a certain distance. Although the blizzard grew stronger by one level with every additional mile they traveled, the person in the lead continued to run ahead without concern. The one following, though full of objections, suppressed his words. This only made the situation seem even more unusual.
"Second brother, do we really have to travel like this?" The man behind finally spoke up. Yet, his words had no effect on his continued pursuit.
"Time is of the essence. Explaining this later will only cause unnecessary trouble. If we can accomplish this quickly, we can avoid many complications. Dong Zhuo is now powerful, and the warlords in various regions will inevitably rise against him. We must seize the advantage before they rebel."
The man in the lead did not turn back. His eyes, narrowed by the wind and snow, shone with unwavering determination as he stared into the distance. His voice was low as he replied.
Seeing his resolve, the man behind seemed reluctant to say more and simply followed closely. However, if one paid closer attention, they could detect the cunning in his eyes. It was unclear whether the man in the lead noticed.
The two continued to run through the blizzard. After about half an hour, the man in the lead suddenly stopped and stood before an ancient tree, rare in the snow-covered landscape. The man behind did not notice and almost collided with him. He quickly somersaulted to avoid him, looking quite clumsy.
After brushing off the snow, he was about to scold him when he heard him mutter, "Found it. After days of searching, I finally found it."
Looking at the towering ancient tree in the snow, his eyes shone with excitement, completely free of fatigue. He then raised his strong arms and gestured left and right, leaping up the tree like a monkey.
"Second brother, what's wrong? Is something wrong?" The man behind looked up as the man in the lead moved toward the top of the tree. Yet, the man in the lead seemed to ignore him, still standing agilely at the peak.
He glanced left and right, fully focused on any movement around him. Soon, he suddenly leaped from the top of the tree as if a thirsty traveler had discovered an oasis.
The man below was startled and, without hesitation, immediately used his internal energy to rush toward where the man was falling. His fingers moved like tiger claws, making a whistling sound as he aimed to catch the falling man with his own powerful internal energy.
"Hmph! Do you think my cultivation is insufficient?" As he spoke, the legs of the man who had jumped down twisted and danced like a dragon. He merely snorted in response to the kindness of the man called A Shu, pushing him back at the moment their fingers and legs met. The man who had jumped down was sent flying in the northeast direction by the reaction force.
At this moment, he completely ignored A Shu's feelings and continued to speak urgently, "Quick! It's just ahead. I finally found it. Hahaha!"
Despite his words, the man who had left did not respond to A Shu and rushed away like the wind.
A Shu, who had been pushed back over ten feet, looked at his slightly painful palms and the footprints he had left on the ground, muttering with envy, "I can't believe it. After practicing the 'Tiger Claw Technique' for over ten years, I still can't match him. This is unacceptable."
Snowflakes fell, the air filled with biting cold, and within tens of miles, there was no sign of birds, animals, or even humans. Heavy breathing echoed intermittently in the vast snow. Soon, the faint black dots in the distance had come into view—the man who had just left.
Despite his fatigue, his excitement was undeniable. His eyes were fixed on the north, staring at the sun, though unclear, still radiating light. He took out a silk-like paper from his sleeve and muttered, exhaling hot air, "Hmm... it says that in the far north, at dawn and dusk, snow dragons encircle the sun, and divine weapons appear. Divine weapons? Is this the 'last move' referred to by the Liu family? If so, how can I find it in this snowstorm? All I see is endless snow. Sigh! How can I find the divine weapon?"
He paced back and forth in the wind and snow, seemingly pondering the meaning of the words on the paper. Though it was already noon, the violent blizzard left only faint light in the area. This sight only added to the man's impatience.
Annoyed, he struck the air with a palm, as if wanting to vent all his frustrations in one blow.
