Author Bio:
Huang Jianmin was born in Taipei in 1951. He graduated from the Department of Architecture at Chung Yuan University in 1976, served as a teaching assistant at the Department of Architecture of Chung Yuan University in 1978, worked at the Zongmai Architects' Office in 1979, served as the executive editor of Architectural Magazine in 1980, obtained his Master of Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1982, worked at the Dallas WSI Architects' Office in 1983, joined the Dallas JKW Interior Design Company in 1985, and worked at the Dallas GCTW Architects' Office in 1987. In 1987, he founded the Dallas Dafuhua Architects and Planning Association. He served as a foreign correspondent for Architectural Magazine in 1988, the editor-in-chief of Architectural Magazine for the Republic of China Architects' Association in 1992, and the director of the Publishing Committee of the Taipei Architects' Association in 1994.
