Features: The compilation of "History of Ancient Chinese Literature" today presents a state of diverse schools of thought. How to write the "Literature of the Song and Yuan Dynasties" section we are responsible for still requires careful consideration. In addition to conventionally outlining the development of literature during the Song and Yuan periods and examining the creative practices and achievements of writers, we consciously reduced the introduction of writers' biographies and enhanced their creative philosophies and appreciation of key works. We also strengthened the connections between writers' works and comparisons of their stylistic similarities and differences, striving to make the entire book a harmonious whole. Of course, we did not overlook maintaining the clear and concise features of this book to ensure its applicability in the teaching process.
