Features: The "Dictionary of Calligraphy of the Four Masters of Song Dynasty" categorizes and organizes the authentic works and printed versions (casts) of Cai Xiang, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, and Mi Fu from the Song Dynasty. The arrangement of character heads is primarily based on the "Kangxi Dictionary," with each character ordered by Cai Xiang's regular script, running script, and cursive script, followed by Su Shi's regular script, running script, and cursive script, then Huang Tingjian's regular script, running script, and cursive script, and finally Mi Fu's regular script, running script, and cursive script. The characters collected are generally reduced in size proportionally, but exceptionally large characters are adjusted in size as needed by the editor. Cast characters are printed in reversed black and white. To preserve the original style, authentic works are generally not modified, but minor enhancements are made to the surrounding stains or defects for clarity. For user convenience, a stroke index is included at the beginning of the volume.
