Features: After that, she tormented me from time to time! When I sat in the room, it felt as if I could see her just by stepping outside; when I walked in the wilderness, I felt that stepping inside the house would mean meeting her. I was sure she was somewhere in Wuthering Heights! When I slept in her room, every time I closed my eyes, she was either outside the window or stepping into the room, even placing her lovely head on my pillow like when we were children. I opened my eyes over a hundred times in one night—always to disappointment! Now, since I have seen her, my heart has been somewhat at peace. This is truly a strange way to kill! Slowly, with the hope of a ghost, I have endured this torment for eighteen years!
