Features: On my eightieth birthday, I wrote the article "Eighty Years Remembering My Parents." Later, I continued to write "Recollections of Teachers and Friends," in which nearly all the events of my life that were always on my mind were recorded. At the age of eighty-three or eighty-four, my eyes suddenly became ill, I could no longer see characters, read books, or read newspapers. Whenever I wrote an article, I would ask my wife to search for old books and quote idioms. After the manuscript was completed, my wife would read it aloud, and I would listen from the side, adding and revising it word by word. This manuscript is divided into three major parts: one on the universe, heaven, earth, and nature; two on politics, society, and human culture; and three on moral character, behavior, and self-cultivation.
