Features: The textbook "Interpersonal Chinese" is divided into 40 lessons (40 topics) and published in 4 volumes. Each volume contains 10 lessons, with 1 lesson being a review lesson. The content of each lesson primarily focuses on spoken language, setting up situational dialogues through the daily activities of characters to reflect a certain linguistic context. This allows learners to gradually master everyday Chinese communication skills and develop interest in Chinese through learning spoken Chinese.
"Interpersonal Chinese" divides daily spoken language into several topics, with each lesson covering one topic. For each topic, the textbook includes situational dialogues, vocabulary, common phrases, cultural background knowledge, language points, annotations, substitution exercises, and more, aiming to integrate understanding and usage.
To help domestic and international TV audiences and learners grasp the content more quickly and achieve simple communication with Chinese people, we present each lesson in three TV episodes. The first two episodes focus on explaining the dialogues, accompanied by cultural background knowledge and language point explanations. The third episode focuses on review, repeatedly playing the situational dialogues, along with common phrases and substitution exercises, fully reflecting the principle of prioritizing dialogue-based learning with supplementary exercises. The goal is to enable audiences to master the basic spoken Chinese for daily communication through watching the TV program and studying the textbook.
To help beginners understand the meaning behind Chinese dialogues and quickly grasp Chinese communication skills, the authors leverage the advantages of television. They meticulously create situational dialogues and provide Pinyin, Chinese characters, and Western subtitles for vocabulary and common phrases on the TV screen, allowing viewers to see what they are learning. This creates a linguistic environment and aims to deepen their impression.
