Features: Children certainly get bored with studying, but they never seem to have enough of playing. If children could treat learning as play, that would be great! This is a topic that most parents are both concerned about and frequently discuss. In fact, solving this problem isn’t difficult at all. As long as you understand the psychological development patterns of children, it is entirely possible to make them enjoy learning.
Why are many babies afraid of washing their heads? Sometimes, parents are smiling when feeding their babies, but become serious and tense when it’s time to wash their hair. Babies notice the change in their parents’ emotions and think that washing hair must be a very scary thing. The same principle applies to children. When they come home from school, they are usually happy, but parents remind them with a stern face that it’s time to do homework. Some even scare or threaten them, forcing them to study. Would children still enjoy learning in such a situation? If parents are afraid of learning, learning can never be fun!
So, parents should treat learning as something enjoyable and discuss it in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. For example, if a child fails an exam, instead of mentioning the exam, parents can say, "Let’s cook together first. It might be a good idea to open a small restaurant in the future." The child might immediately respond, "I’d rather not! I want to be a scientist!" When a child complains about their teacher being unfair, parents can say, "You poor things. How can a teacher act like that? You should give some suggestions to the principal!" The child feels understood and happy, but they might add, "Hey, our teacher is only a first-time head teacher, and it’s not easy for them either!"
A relaxed mindset helps children realize that learning isn’t as exhausting as they think. Children certainly get bored with studying, but they never seem to have enough of playing.
