Features: According to the contract signed between Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Legal Press, this textbook is written by teaching and research personnel of the Criminal Law Discipline at Southwest University of Political Science and Law. The Criminal Law Discipline at Southwest University of Political Science and Law was established in 1953 through the merger of the Criminal Law Disciplines of law schools from renowned universities in Southwest China, such as Sichuan University, Chongqing University, Yunnan University, and Guizhou University. In 1981, it became one of the earliest disciplines in China to be authorized to grant master's degrees in criminal law, and in 2001, it became the only doctoral degree-awarding point in western China. Currently, it has become a provincial key discipline with a solid academic foundation, excellent academic traditions, significant influence nationwide, and certain international recognition. Considering that all the contributing authors of this textbook have a solid foundation in criminal law and rich teaching experience, this textbook will be the primary teaching material used by our university for criminal law in the near future. Except for parts that are obviously contrary to the mainstream views or do not comply with the writing requirements of this textbook, the chief editor and associate editor have basically made no non-textual modifications to the content written by the chapter authors.
