My father, Zhang Yuanji

Author: Zhang Shuyuan / Country: Mainland China
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-06-01
Features: "My Father Zhang Yuanji" is another significant work by the author following the publication of "Zhang Yuanji Chronology." Three years ago, Mr. Shuyuan came to the editorial office of "Journal of Editing" to see me and told me about his plan to write "My Father Zhang Yuanji." I immediately agreed and was willing to publish it for the first time in the journal. During the process of compiling the chronology, Mr. Shuyuan rummaged through boxes and drawers at home, discovering valuable artifacts such as family genealogies and contracts. He also revisited the unforgettable years spent with his father over more than fifty years, which may have been one of the motivations behind his writing this book.
