Features: Caught by hunter Genji and kept in a chicken coop, the male eagle dozes off, occasionally emitting soft humming sounds. Since spending his days in the chicken coop, he often dreams. In his dreams, he always sees the female eagle who lived with him as a chick. The male eagle has been kept in Genji's chicken coop for more than a year. "Hey hey, the king of the sky, when did you become a dozing king?" Genji walks into the chicken coop with food in hand. Hearing Genji's voice, the male eagle opens his golden eyes and abruptly raises his neck. At first, he still shows hostility towards Genji, ready to pounce and attack at the sight of him, but from some point on, he grows fond of Genji, who brings him food every morning. Genji and the male eagle playfully chase and frolic in the chicken coop for a while. Then, Genji holds a piece of meat in his mouth and extends it toward the eagle. The eagle takes the meat in his beak and plays tug-of-war with Genji. When he wins, the young male eagle uses his sharp talons to firmly press the meat and tear it apart with a crunch. After finishing the meal, Genji turns the eagle's strong neck and slowly scratches his head from the back to the base of his feathers with his fingers. The eagle leans comfortably against him, closing his eyes and remaining motionless. This sky king living in the chicken coop has two other friends besides Genji. They are the Japanese dog and cat kept in Genji's house. When warm sunlight shines into the chicken coop, the cat climbs onto the eagle's back and dozes off on his fluffy feathers. To help the cat sleep well on his back, the eagle leans forward and sits motionless. Genji's dog is also very friendly with the eagle. When Genji enters the chicken coop with food, the dog runs in behind him. Taking advantage of their distraction, the dog snatches the food and runs off. The eagle chases after it with a series of yelps. The eagle doesn't really chase the dog away—finally, the two animals eat together peacefully, heads touching.
