1. What is Formula Milk Powder
Formula milk powder is primarily made from cow's milk or soy protein, and on this basis, it adjusts the content of various nutrients according to the standards of maternal milk, referring to the regulations of international nutrition associations. The protein and other nutrient levels are adjusted to change the ratio of whey protein to casein, and many essential fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins are added to make it closer to human needs. Cow's milk formula milk powder adopts advanced international production standards, reducing the total protein content to alleviate the burden on the child's kidneys. The protein composition of cow's milk is adjusted to meet the growth and development needs of children, such as increasing whey protein to 60% and reducing casein to 40% to facilitate digestion and absorption. Some formula milk powders also add taurine and synbiotics, remove saturated fatty acids, and add many essential fatty acids, all of which are beneficial to the child's nutritional development. Soy-based formula milk powder is a new type of soy milk powder made primarily from soy protein, with various nutrients added according to the nutritional standards of maternal milk. Compared to the two, except that most formula cow's milk powders contain lactose (some cow's milk formulas do not contain lactose), while soy-based formula milk powders do not contain lactose, there is no significant difference in the ratio of other nutrient contents. Therefore, soy-based formula milk powder is more suitable for children with milk protein allergies and lactose intolerance.
