Features: The tall and upright Dr. Jekyll believes that human nature contains two incompatible opposites, good and evil, and he fantasizes about separating them. He develops a potion that, with just a small amount, can transform him into another self—wicked and slender Hyde. Hyde indulges in pleasure and acts recklessly, then takes another potion to revert back to the respected Dr. Jekyll. After Hyde kills someone, he takes the potion to transform back into Jekyll, but the evil side of Jekyll's nature prevails, and he can automatically turn into Hyde. Filled with fear, Jekyll ultimately takes his own life to escape the loathsome Hyde.
