Features: The purpose of compiling the research guide in this volume is to integrate the classicism of academia into practical teaching, aiming to enhance students' understanding and research capabilities in ancient Chinese literature. The classicism of ancient Chinese literature stems from the long historical accumulation of literary creation. As is well known, ancient Chinese literature originated in the pre-Qin period and ended in the late Qing Dynasty. Due to its long history, it boasts numerous writers, and due to its rich works, it encompasses a wide variety of literary genres. From a historical perspective, literary history is often divided into periods such as the pre-Qin, the Han Dynasty, the Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and the Ming and Qing Dynasties. From the perspective of literary genres, there are also poetry, prose, fu, leishu (a type of classical Chinese poetry), drama, and fiction, among others. Thus, some scholars have attempted to combine these two aspects and proposed the view that "each era has its own excellence" in literature. This book primarily serves to introduce the authors of the papers and summarize the key points of the selected essays. After each selected essay, there is a section titled "Research and Reflection," designed to cultivate and improve students' research capabilities in ancient Chinese literature.
