How to specifically check for cervical infertility

Patient's question:

I haven't been able to get pregnant for three years. Multiple tests have shown cervical infertility. How exactly is cervical infertility checked?

Doctor's answer:

(1) Vaginal examination: Observe the position, shape, and size of the cervix, the amount and characteristics of secretions, and the presence or absence of cervical erosion, polyps, etc. Pay attention to any cervical motion tenderness and parametrial tenderness. Simultaneously perform a bacteriological examination of cervical canal mucus. Scraping or colposcopy may be performed when necessary.
(2) Probe examination: Simple and practical, it detects the direction, length, and proportion of the cervical canal, as well as the presence of stenosis, adhesions, and the tightness of the internal os. For suspected abnormalities, further contrast examination should be considered.
(3) Contrast examination: Hysterosalpingography not only detects lesions of the uterus and fallopian tubes but also greatly benefits the study of infertility and infertility treatment through cervical canal contrast.
