Nipple inversion is not present

Patient's question:

Always been like this, no feeling of discomfort, should I see a doctor, is it serious?

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition:
1. Surgical treatment: If breast development is complete and the nipple inversion does not improve with repeated traction or negative pressure suction, nipple inversion correction surgery can be performed.
Advice:
2. Other special treatments are primarily used for the treatment of primary pseudonipple inversion. If ineffective, surgical intervention may be considered.
(1) Manual traction: Puberty is a critical period for breast development and an important time for correcting nipple inversion. Regularly pulling the nipples can make the breasts more prominent, increase the support of the surrounding skin, and achieve a "shaping" effect. Do this several times a day. Over time, the nipples will naturally gradually protrude outward. If they don’t protrude, you can first gently push the skin near the nipple outward.
(2) Negative pressure suction: Use a breast pump to apply negative pressure suction to the nipples, or place a 5–10 ml empty syringe barrel over the areola. Connect the syringe end to a rubber tube, which is then connected to another syringe. Pull the plunger of the latter to create negative pressure, which helps the nipples protrude outward.
