Postpartum day 60, slight bleeding

Patient's question:

No significant postpartum hemorrhage, returned to normal after about 44 days with a small amount of bloodstains, and then the amount increased.

Doctor's answer:

If the surrounding tissue around the incision has good blood supply, debridement to remove necrotic tissue can be performed to create a fresh wound, followed by re-suturing. If, during laparotomy, an erosion is found in the uterine incision, the tissue is fragile, and the lower segment transverse incision spontaneously tears open when lifting the fundus, resulting in separation of the upper and lower segments, then a total hysterectomy should be performed promptly, along with anti-inflammatory treatment, blood transfusion, and shock correction.
