Features: Wu Jingzi wrote a large number of poems, prose, and historical research works in his lifetime, including the twelve-volume Wenmu Shanfang Shiwenji, of which four volumes remain today. However, what established his outstanding position in Chinese literary history was his creation of the long satirical novel Rulin Waishi.
