Features: Campus English is a practical English speaking book. The purpose of this book is to guide students in practicing English conversations in various campus settings, thereby improving their English communication skills. During the writing process, we strive for vivid language, accuracy, and clarity. Simple language and strong practicality are the two main features of this book. The book is divided into twelve units, each consisting of four parts: situational dialogues, vocabulary and phrases, common sentence patterns, and situational exercises. The book includes Chinese translations and appendices for reference and study. The chief editor, Professor Zheng Minli, meticulously planned the entire book, conducted comprehensive editing, and participated in the specific writing of Units 1 and 12. The other unit writers are: Zeng Xiangqing (Unit 2), Wang Fang and Li Baoling (Unit 3, Unit 8, Unit 9), Liu Xiaohong and Cao Min (Unit 4, Unit 7), Lin Faming and Tang Chunzhen (Unit 5), Lin Xing and Fu Jinying (Unit 6), and Zhang Jian and Zhang Dan (Unit 10, Unit 11). Professor Huo Jinkeng of our institution took time out of his busy schedule to review and edit this book. We sincerely express our gratitude to Professor Huo. Due to the tight schedule, there may be shortcomings in this book, and we sincerely hope for the readers' criticism and correction.
