Features: On a summer afternoon, while playing, Tom and Lily heard a group of frogs make a shocking prophecy: a catastrophe was about to strike. The heavens would unleash a torrential rain for 40 consecutive days, and the floods would engulf the entire world! True to their words, the frogs' prophecy came true. The rain poured down fiercely! In no time, the floods surged over the hills. The Ferdinand family hurriedly gathered the animals into the barn for refuge. The barn became an ark, and thus, a long journey of drifting began. Unfortunately, there was only one type of food in the barn: potatoes. For the Ferdinand family and the herbivores, it was barely enough to tide them over, but the carnivores in the barn had already turned their eyes toward the other small animals with predatory intent. When Ferdinand and Juliet were swept away by the flood, Tom and Lily found themselves in dire straits: how could these two little rascals lead the ferocious wolves, tigers, and leopards, who were already speaking harshly to each other, out of the predicament? The story in this book is a parody and imitation of the famous "Noah's Ark" tale. In the adaptation, the author incorporates highly imaginative absurdity and whimsy, breathing new magic, adventure, and dramatic ups and downs into an ancient legend. Combined with a highly imaginative ending, the book becomes a rare modern masterpiece that is both subversive and profound.
Heavy rain, heavy rain, it keeps pouring
