Is my illness getting worse?

Patient's question:

At first, I had intermittent pain in my lower left abdomen. The doctor said it was chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis. After taking anti-inflammatory medication for two weeks, it improved. The doctor recommended herbal enemas to address the root cause. I've been doing it for just one week. During this week, I caught a cold once, and my throat swelled up, but it's better now. However, today I have persistent pain in my lower left abdomen, with a feeling of bloating and lower back pain. What could be happening? Is it because I'm not to the enemas? Or has the pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis returned despite having just improved? Will I keep experiencing this every time I overheat or get cold? How can I get rid of this permanently? I'm asking for everyone's help with suggestions!

Doctor's answer:

When you have pelvic inflammatory disease, it's important to reduce the frequency of sexual activity. I've been through this myself, and pelvic inflammatory disease has been a real torment, making my life a mess. It persisted for years, coming back again and again. When I saw Western doctors, they always recommended physical therapy and pain medication, treating only the symptoms, not the root cause. Later, I tried Chinese medicine and used herbal enemas, specifically using (Maodongqing enema liquid) diluted with hot water. Then, I poured the liquid into the intestines and lay down to allow it to be absorbed. I continued this for about one or two months, and it really did help. Now, my lower back hasn't ached, and there's no pain anymore. My mood and work have both improved. If you're severely tormented by recurring pelvic inflammatory disease, you can give this a try.
