These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the (command baton) of college entrance exams and passively prepares for tests is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters and profoundly grasp their underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower. While Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers diving into the sea of problems, it strongly advocates that students break free from it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to engage in flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of problem-solving. If there is anything else Huanggang High School has achieved success in, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged a strong team of teachers, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province.
