Publish Date: 2006-06-01
Features: In the summer of the Renwu (2002) year, with the generous support of the Chengyuan Publishing Company, the book "Little Chinese Medicine, Great Effects (Volume 1) — Zhang Butao's Prescriptions" was published. To this day, it has been two years. Since its publication, the book has been a bestseller, achieving remarkable success and even ranking on bookstore sales charts. The reasons for this are undoubtedly related to Chengyuan's extensive global distribution network and the excellent editing and design. However, the main factors are the book's accessibility, easy-to-understand content, and practical effectiveness, making it enjoyable for both the educated and the layperson. Over time, many people from around the world who read the book and returned to Taiwan for treatment can be seen as a testament to its profound influence. Originally, after the publication of "Little Chinese Medicine, Great Effects (Volume 1) — Zhang Butao's Prescriptions," it was planned to add more content and release a second volume by the end of the Guimai (2003) year. However, due to the busy affairs of the writer, Yi Zhaoguang, the project was delayed, and it was not until the summer of the Jiaxun (2004) year that, after two long years, "Little Chinese Medicine, Great Effects (Volume 2) — Zhang Butao's Treatment for Major Illnesses" was finally published. This book is a continuation of "Little Chinese Medicine, Great Effects (Volume 1) — Zhang Butao's Prescriptions," with a higher level of depth, but it still adheres to the principles of popularization and accessibility. Some medical cases in this book were compiled by Xie Faye, who comes from a military background and served as the Academic Dean of the National Defense University. He is passionate about traditional Chinese medicine, has passed the Chinese medicine physician qualification exam, and possesses both knowledge and sharp writing skills, truly an expert in his field. The content of this book primarily explores the causes, pathological mechanisms, and prevention and treatment principles of difficult and complex illnesses. While it may not cure all diseases, it may fill the gaps left by modern medicine. If it can complement modern medicine, it would undoubtedly be a great blessing for humanity. Diseases are indeed challenging, but if one can face them with a calm and positive attitude, remove psychological barriers, and believe in it, one can be free from pain and return to a long and healthy life! On the occasion of the publication of "Little Chinese Medicine, Great Effects (Volume 2) — Zhang Butao's Treatment for Major Illnesses," a few words are added as a preface!
