Features: In 1998, I gave up the superior job in a government agency and decided to study in the United States. This decision caused quite a stir among my family, relatives, and friends. By the end of 2002, I gave up staying in the U.S. and made the choice to return to China for development, which had an earthquake-like effect on the people around me. "Why did you come to the U.S. in the first place, only to go back?" I didn't know how to answer. But I knew returning to China was my only choice, just like studying in the U.S. had been. Although this decision was heavily criticized and not well understood, I have never regretted it. I can proudly say that I made the hardest yet right decision in my life. My life has never been as fulfilling, enjoyable, and vibrant as it is today.
