Patient's question:
Hello! I had a cervical erosion surgery a week ago, but I still have a lot of discharge. I've always loved exercising and used to do aerobics every night. Could you please tell me when I can resume exercising? Thank you!Doctor's answer:
Generally, around 10 days after the LEEP procedure, there may be bleeding during the crust shedding period. Currently, the discharge is yellow, which suggests there might still be a vaginal infection. This usually does not affect glandular secretion, but in some cases, it may lead to cervical stenosis. After menstruation, refrain from sexual activity and check the wound healing condition. It is recommended to visit a formal hospital after your period to examine the cervical recovery. Avoid sexual activity and tub baths for one month post-surgery. Also, avoid fatigue and exposure to cold. Oral medication for anti-inflammatory treatment is advised.
