- Difficult to cure, prone to recurrence, and can lead to premature birth, fetal infection, and congenital deformities.
Hazards of Bacterial Vaginitis:
- May cause genital infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, perinephric inflammation, and pain during intercourse.
Treatment for Yeast Vaginitis:
- Commonly used medications include Jieshu Liquid.
- Wash the external genitalia and vagina with 2% sodium bicarbonate solution.
- Apply local antifungal medications such as Daxin or Daking.
- In recent years, incomplete treatment or deep tissue infections in the vagina have led to recurrence.
- For recurrent vaginitis, oral medications are effective for prevention.
- Commonly used antifungal oral medications include fluconazole and Sporanox.
- Take once every 2–4 weeks for 3–6 months to fully control symptoms.
- Monthly premenstrual follow-ups are recommended; three consecutive negative results indicate cure.
- Abstain from sexual activity during treatment, and both partners should be treated simultaneously.
Treatment for Bacterial Vaginitis
1. Metronidazole (Flagyl)
- Dosage: 0.2–0.4g per dose, taken 2–3 times daily for 7 days. Intravenous infusion is also possible.
2. Amoxicillin
- Dosage: 0.5g per dose, taken three times daily. Alternatively, 6g daily can be divided into two doses for intravenous infusion.
Local Treatment

- 3. Rinsing with Jiemycin liquid also provides some relief.
