It mainly includes more than 30 exclusive reports from the newspaper, as well as 90 letters written by Chen Youren to Pu Yanyan, a Hunan Dong ethnic girl he assisted in education. The collection fully showcases the moving stories of Chen Youren, a police officer and Communist Party member from the Shanghai Shipping Bureau, who practices the socialist concept of honor and disgrace.
