This textbook was developed under the leadership of the Cell Teaching Group of the Life Sciences College at Fudan University. It was compiled by 11 professors and experts from domestic and international comprehensive, normal, medical, and agricultural and forestry institutions, who have long been engaged in teaching and research in cell and molecular biology. The compilation was directly supervised by Professor George E. Stark, a renowned molecular cell biologist and member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
