With the deepening of China's reform and opening-up and further economic development, China's tourism industry holds greater potential for growth and a more promising future. The great development of our tourism industry calls for great planning. However, we must also recognize that although China's tourism planning is vibrant and full of excitement, there are still some issues to address. Some units and departments have yet to realize the importance of planning, and there remains a shortage of professional planners and planning institutions, which to some extent restricts the development of Chinese tourism planning. Precisely because there are still various problems in China's tourism planning, we need even more talented individuals who are passionate about tourism planning to join the field, to boost and advocate for Chinese tourism planning, and to engage in solid theoretical discussions and practical explorations for it.
