Features: To meet the review needs of a large number of self-study candidates, we have compiled this "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Engineering Mechanics." This book is based on the "Self-Study Syllabus for Engineering Mechanics" approved by the National Higher Education Self-Study Examination Guidance Committee and the designated textbook—"Engineering Mechanics" (edited by Liu Mingwei), published by Wuhan University Press. The book is divided into three parts: Part I is Self-Study Guidance; Part II is Comprehensive Exercises; Part III is Mock Self-Test Questions. Among them, the Comprehensive Exercises include fill-in-the-blank questions, multiple-choice questions, drawing questions, short-answer questions, simple calculation questions, and comprehensive calculation questions, basically covering the exam content of this course. Each chapter includes reference answers, and the after-class exercises are analyzed and solved one by one for candidates to refer to during review. In Part I and Chapters 1 to 16 of Part II, Yao Qingzhao is the author; Chapters 17 to 26 of Part II are written by Ye Wenhong; and Part III is co-authored by Yao Qingzhao and Ye Wenhong. This series of books includes "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Engineering Mechanics," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Structural Mechanics," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Concrete and Masonry Structures," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Construction," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Civil Engineering Drawing," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Building Materials," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Engineering Surveying," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Drawing," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Building Construction," "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Construction Engineering Quotas and Budgets," and "Self-Study Guide and Solutions for Engineering Drawing and Building Construction," totaling 12 books. The entire series is reviewed and finalized by Zhao Ren and Yao Qingzhao. Due to the tight writing schedule, omissions in the book are inevitable. We hope candidates will study the "Engineering Mechanics" textbook carefully and provide valuable feedback for reference during revision.
