Author: Shou Yongnian
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-01-01
Features: The book is divided into five volumes: "Commentaries on Integrity," "Epigraphs of Integrity in Rhyme," "Wives of Integrity and Wives of Corruption," "Short Stories of Integrity," and "Performing Arts of Integrity." It has made new progress in both content and form. As I have said before, to effectively carry out publicity and education on anti-corruption and integrity, one must "start with the concrete when dealing with the abstract, turn the soft into the hard, and make practical efforts for the intangible." One must also "act decisively on what is clear, not abandon strong programs, persist in good practices, and not give up on what has been called for." These are proven, effective methods of thinking and working. The publication of the "Series of Chinese Integrity Culture" embodies such methods and approaches, reflecting development through inheritance and innovation. It is a concentrated showcase of the achievements made by Yinzhou District in its persistent efforts to promote integrity culture.
Integrity culture is based on advanced integrity systems, guided by progressive integrity theories, centered around advanced integrity concepts, and carried forward by advanced literary and artistic works of integrity. It has a profound historical heritage, extensive cultural knowledge, and rich social practice. Integrity culture is an important part of China's advanced culture and a crucial component of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and political civilization. Strengthening the construction of integrity culture is an urgent need to practice the "Three Represents," implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, build a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and construct a harmonious socialist society. It is the foundational work for in-depth anti-corruption and integrity campaigns and an essential element in establishing a sound system for the punishment and prevention of corruption.
