Mr. Chen Longwen, however, ( means "entry point" or "starting point" in this context) from the geographical study of historical currency, using the perspective of historical geography to conduct research on pre-Qin coinage, opening up a new approach in the study of numismatics and monetary history and also expanding a new field in the study of historical geography. The monograph now published is based on Mr. Chen Longwen's doctoral dissertation, which has been enriched and improved.
Mr. Chen Longwen is the last disciple of the late renowned Chinese historical geographer Shi Nianhai. Having inherited the essence of Nianhai's academic approach, coupled with his diligent efforts, it is natural that he has achieved academic success.
