If the extended form contains no other abbreviated components beyond the original abbreviation, it is generally not included in this book.

Generally, only the corresponding original forms are listed, with some entries including necessary explanations.

1. Generally, each sense is accompanied by example sentences.
2. Most example sentences are selected from the widely covered People’s Daily and influential, highly standardized provincial party newspapers. Only a small portion are sourced from other types of periodicals.
3. Example sentences are designed to reflect the usage of abbreviations as much as possible, enabling readers to better understand, master, and use them.
