The battle for survival between the three human families—Zi Chuan, Liu Feng, and Lin—and the ancient demon race unfolds. In a remote valley of the Far East, occupied by demons, a powerful human force emerges. They secretly acquire and manufacture strategic resources, recruit scattered human units, and ally with half-breeds and other races, establishing a human base in the Far East.
Zi Chuan Xiu, the general who single-handedly killed the traitors of the Zi Chuan family within the demon camp, becomes the leader of the hundreds of thousands of joint forces in the Far East with the support of the guardian elders of the mysterious temple. A new Far East King—the Light King—has been born. The Far East Viceroy of the demons will never sit idly by as human power emerges in this region. A decisive battle for dominance in the Far East begins. On one side are the elite troops of the demon general Lu Di, and on the other, the newly armed joint forces. The disparity in strength is vast. Can the new Light King, Zi Chuan Xiu, once again perform a miracle and turn the tide?
Internal divisions within the Zi Chuan family grow increasingly apparent, as conflicts between the elders' council and the military begin to surface. Can the two pillars of the Zi Chuan family, Sterling and Di Lin, withstand the open and hidden attacks of the noble elders and turn danger into safety?
On the distant continent, the human and demon races had long maintained a fragile balance after the great battle years ago, living in relative peace for some time. Now, this fragile equilibrium is shattered by the ambitious demon emperor. Over a million demon soldiers cross the border, besieging Valen Fortress while launching a surprise attack straight for the imperial capital guarded by the Zi Chuan family. The human forces suffer early setbacks in the war, and the survival of humanity on this continent hangs by a thread.
The three young generals of the Zi Chuan family—Sterling, Di Lin, and Zi Chuan Xiu—begin to lead counterattacks, but the demons hold a clear advantage in numbers. Can humanity once again, as in the battle years ago, unite the three families—Zi Chuan, Liu Feng, and Lin—to drive back the demon coalition?
The handsome Zi Chuan Xiu, the youngest general of the Zi Chuan family, who falls asleep during the decisive battle, makes a fortune along the way during the advance, and often causes chaos during council meetings, can he bear the burden of leading his people to repel the demons and restore the empire's former glory?
The love, hatred, emotions, and feuds between the three great generals of the Zi Chuan, Liu Feng, and Lin families and the demons—Sterling's secret romance with the demon princess Kadan, Zi Chuan Xiu's love-hate relationship with his childhood rival, the admiration between Feng Shuang, the beautiful commander of the Liu Feng family, and Zi Chuan Xiu, the frenzied pursuit and assassination of Liu Feng by the Lin family heir, and how Di Lin, as the enforcer, balances loyalty and righteousness in the chaos—turbulent and captivating.
Will the love stories ultimately end in happiness? Can loyalty and righteousness be reconciled? These questions must find their answers in this century-long battle between humans and demons.
