Features: On a distant continent, the human and demon races had established a fragile balance in a great assembly years ago, and they lived in peace for a time. Now, this fragile balance has been shattered by the ambitious demon emperor. Millions of demon soldiers have crossed the border, besieging Valen Fortress while launching a surprise attack directly at the imperial capital guarded by the Zichuan family. The human forces are retreating step by step at the beginning of the war, and the fate of the human race on this continent hangs by a thread. The three young generals of the Zichuan family—Sterling, Dilin, and Zichuan Xiu—begin to lead their troops in counterattacks, but the demon forces have a clear advantage in numbers. Can the human race once again, as in the great battle years ago, join forces with the Zichuan, Liufeng, and Lin families to drive back the demon coalition?
The handsome Zichuan Xiu, the youngest general of the Zichuan family, who falls fast asleep during the decisive battle between the two armies, makes a fortune along the way while advancing to the front, and often causes chaos during parliamentary meetings. Can he bear the burden of leading his people to drive back the demons and restore the former glory of the empire?
The love, hatred, emotions, and feuds between the three great generals of the Zichuan, Liufeng, and Lin families and the demons—Sterling's secret affair with the demon princess Kadan, Zichuan Xiu's love-hate relationship with the heir he grew up with, the mutual admiration between the beautiful commander of the Liufeng family, Liufeng Xiang, and Zichuan Xiu, the Lin family heir's obsessive pursuit and assassination attempts on Liufeng Xiang, and how Dilin, as the head of the enforcement bureau, can maintain both loyalty and righteousness toward his two brothers in the chaos of war—these are all turbulent and heart-stirring.
Will the lovers finally be together? Can loyalty and righteousness both be fulfilled? These questions must be settled in this century-long great battle between humans and demons.
