Features: In this era filled with temptations, everyone aspires to succeed. Almost everyone dreams of waking up to become the world's wealthiest individual and believes they are destined to be superior, entitled to enjoy luxurious cars and mansions. If in an era of material scarcity, the primary obstacle to people's success was the lack of dreams or the courage to dream, then now, the very unrealistic dreams mentioned above are the ones hindering people's growth and success. A (fúzào - restless and superficial) work attitude makes it difficult for people to focus on their current tasks. They consider their work too ordinary and unworthy of their efforts, often doing just enough to get by and shirking responsibilities whenever possible. They spend their days either complaining about their superiors' inability to recognize their talent or venting their frustration over being "underappreciated." People with a (fúzào) attitude look down on their current work, believing that with their abilities, they should be entrusted with more important responsibilities and receive higher (dàiyù - treatment). These individuals are constantly busy complaining about their jobs, lacking the time and energy to genuinely excel at what they do, resulting in frequent mistakes and making their superiors even more reluctant to delegate important tasks to them. People with a (fúzào) attitude place all their hope in finding a "" (bólè - someone who discovers hidden talent). They believe their setbacks in the company stem from the lack of a "" to recognize their potential. Since this company lacks such a "," if they continue to stay, their "extraordinary" talents will undoubtedly be buried. The only way for them to shine is to leave this company and join one with a "." Driven by this mindset, they keep jumping from job to job, hoping to change their stagnant career paths. However, this constant job-hopping not only fails to elevate them and achieve their grand dreams but, instead, due to their insufficient skills, lack of learning, and character flaws, they squander their entire lives. As a result, an employee's (fúzào) attitude is harmful not only to the company but also to the employee themselves. The experiences of successful individuals teach us that no matter how capable you are, you must start with the basics. The workplace will never offer overnight success; anyone who wants to stand out must seize the only opportunity: to excel at their current job and create miracles in ordinary, (píngfán - ordinary) work. This book profoundly explains the harm of a (fúzào) work attitude to an employee's career development, pointing out that job-hopping is not an effective way to improve career (kùnjìng - predicament). Only by diligently doing your current job and being a good "soldier" can you gradually accumulate experience, hone your skills, expand your knowledge, and thus gain opportunities for career growth. Regarding the prevailing "" (qí lǘ zhǎo mǎ - looking for a better horse while riding a current one) attitude among many professionals, this book does not dismiss it outright but instead clarifies the view that " can be acceptable, but you cannot abuse the (lǘ - donkey)." It emphasizes that to find a better horse quickly, one must first get the current (lǘ) moving and take good care of it. Only by excelling at your current job can you have the opportunity to do better work. This book argues that to excel at your current job, employees need to adjust their (fúzào) work attitude and cultivate professional spirits such as responsibility, initiative, dedication, and loyalty. They should adopt the mindset that even if your job is to sweep the streets, you must be the best street sweeper. Only in this way can you seize the opportunity to achieve your dreams.
