A book written by movie enthusiasts about the Oscars, a work that speaks the truth and doesn't flatter the Oscars, a must-have for Oscar fans! The Oscar statuette has been awarded annually since 1929, without interruption. Any film released from January 1st to December 31st of the previous year is eligible for nomination. The Oscar selection process involves two rounds of voting. The first round is the nomination vote, where each department of the Academy is responsible for nominating (using a secret ballot). Nominated films will be shown in rotation at the Academy headquarters, after which all Academy members vote in the second round (using an open ballot). Finally, the number of votes determines the winning film.
