Features: Tracing back through the long river of history, in the depths of time, there exists a spiritual sanctuary filled with faith. The people there, though their faces are blurred, are endlessly polished by time until they become clear; their steps, once stumbling, are ever more steadfastly guided by dreams; their words, simple yet profound, are passed down through generations, resounding with impact. Over the years, their figures may have dimmed due to neglect, but they have never faded. Those voices echoing in dreams are precisely their melodious words. The vast Chinese nation, with its profound culture, has carved out a shared name for them: Heroes! In the long five thousand years of Chinese history, how many heroic figures have emerged from the land of China, inspiring and moving us! In times of national prosperity, they shed blood and sacrifice. To resist foreign aggression and defend dignity, they faced challenges head-on, sacrificing themselves without hesitation. "Courageous and valiant, with martial prowess, they remain unyielding even in death; their spirits live on, becoming the brave souls of the dead." They are truly the heroes of our nation, the ones who uphold the spiritual legacy of our people. Heroes embody the enduring memory of the nation, support its upright backbone, and set an honorable example for it. The spirit of heroes is where the essence of Chinese culture lies, the lifeline of the nation, and the fundamental belief that enables the descendants of Yan and Huang to continue to thrive. China is an ancient civilization that reveres heroes, and also a modern powerhouse that promotes the spirit of heroism. Heroes carry hope and expectations, inspiring us to carry forward our legacy as the Chinese nation rises peacefully. Today, as systems are becoming more diluted and an increasing number of imported goods are replacing domestic products, as Spider-Man, Saint Seiya, Detective Conan, and other foreign superheroes have become the idols of children, the recognition and acceptance of our heroes require long-term effort. The beginning of this effort lies with the youth, the rising sun. Embarking on a journey filled with dreams, pursuing the traces of heroes, and understanding their emotions—perhaps this is the simplest way for the youth to honor heroes. We choose the form of comics, which is favored by the youth, to remember our heroes, and we select outstanding comic artists from all over the country to portray our heroes. In the face of the invasion of foreign comic heroes, let our national heroes live vividly in the hearts of the youth, radiating the charm of history and national culture with dynamic portrayals, and facing the challenges of giants with a modern appearance. Comic Book Chinese Heroes will be an ideal cultural medium for the youth to read, as well as a spiritual feast and visual spectacle prepared for them by us. For this reason, we create Comic Book Chinese Heroes.
