Features: This textbook is based on the national 7-year planning materials and is specifically designed for the training objectives of the 8-year clinical medical program. It adheres to the requirements of "updating," "deepening," and "refining," while maintaining the principles of "three basics" and "five characteristics." It was organized and compiled in accordance with the relevant procedures of the National Higher Medical Education Textbook Construction Research Association and the Textbook Office of the Ministry of Health. The content of the entire book is still structured along two dimensions: "vertical" and "horizontal." Chapters 1-7 introduce various fundamental theories, basic knowledge, and basic methods of medical psychology, which are key selections for teaching. Chapters 8-14 discuss the application of medical psychology knowledge and methods in medical clinical and social contexts. The most significant difference from previous editions of the Medical Psychology textbook is that this edition not only strengthens the foundational knowledge but also places particular emphasis on practical applications. To this end, a companion textbook, Guidance for Learning Psychological Issues, has been specifically developed.
