Treasure Island is the breakthrough work of 19th-century British author Robert Louis Stevenson and a world-renowned classic. The book tells the story of a boy named Jim, who stumbles upon a map of a remote island with buried treasure from a pirate. This discovery piques the interest of Mr. Trelawney, a local squire. To find the treasure, they set sail on a three-masted ship to explore the island. Unbeknownst to them, a group of pirates has infiltrated the crew. Under the plotting of the one-legged Silver, they scheme to seize the ship and claim the treasure for themselves. Jim accidentally learns of their plan and, working with Mr. Trelawney, engages in a brave and clever struggle against the pirates. In the end, he triumphs over them and finds the treasure.
