History is the history of food——thank goodness it's not naked thought

Features: In the summer of the Gengwei year, SARS was rampant, rumors spread endlessly, and homes were nearly sealed off. Without the mood for reading or the interest in doing things, I resorted to (going online). The websites I explored opened up the world to me; browsing through them, it felt as if the world was at my fingertips. One day, I stumbled upon a small webpage, unsure of its origin or ownership. Its design was fresh, and its graphics were intricate and unique. The images showed no one working as hard as the creator; the text was a unique style of historical writing, filled with witty and engaging prose. Although it may contain some speculative or forced interpretations, the compilation is meticulous, and the points it raises are clear and well-expressed. The words are vivid, as if they were happening right before my eyes. The combination of text and images is truly a masterpiece—so much so that those of us who are eager to find flaws, like me, were speechless. I immediately downloaded it, seeking a complete version, and planned to read it slowly over time. As autumn approached, I had some questions for the author but sent emails frequently, yet received no replies. When I tried to log in again, there was no trace of the author—had the author passed away from SARS? Upon revisiting the images and text, my heart was moved. Such wonderful writing and illustrations, stored only in the hard drive, unknown, unread, and unappreciated by the world—how tragic! Filled with frustration yet also a touch of wry humor, I reviewed the content, worked tirelessly, corrected the language, and sought wisdom from both the past and the present. Adhering to principles, I did not slacken. As the three autumns drew to a close, the book was finally completed. Now that it can be published and passed down to future generations, it is truly a great joy in life.
