Features: The book "Campfire" is suitable for junior and senior high school students. Everyone can choose and select the chapter content based on their different writing starting points. The book is divided into six chapters, generally arranged according to the natural progression of our writing language—from simple to embellished, from description to reasoning, from pursuing multiple expression forms to leaning toward a certain linguistic style. The first two chapters are foundational, with the main goal of overcoming students' fear of writing and cultivating good writing habits. For both junior and senior high school students, chapters 3 and 4 represent the foundational level of writing, while chapters 5 and 6 represent the developmental level.
The format of each chapter is as follows: First, there are three "Sample Essays for Appreciation," including one set of various excellent essays on the topic "Window," designed to let students appreciate the different charms of various linguistic styles through comparison. The other two are excellent essays from recent junior high and senior high school entrance exams and college entrance exams, hoping to set a benchmark for students to strive forward or surpass. Then, each chapter is divided into five sections for various forms of training, progressing step by step. It includes concise writing tips, exquisite sample essays for reference, meticulous single-item training, systematic and chapter training, as well as the cultivation of abilities and guidance on techniques. The content is rich, and the format is diverse and lively.
In "Campfire," students can discover that writing is truly an expression of their own personalities. In "Campfire," students also realize how crucial imagination and association are in writing. In "Campfire," students also realize that a good essay cannot do without their own feelings and insights. Most importantly: we understand that writing is not taught by teachers but practiced by ourselves!
