In contemporary China, the "subordinate" class as described by Gramsci still exists, as do those struggling to survive. In the context of literature, being expressed is also a form of "politics of recognition." What is particularly noteworthy is that these works emphasize "populism" and the compassionate sentiments they embody, which, in a sense, express the highest justice of literature. Thus, in these works by young writers, we once again encounter the long-missed touch and power of literature. They may face difficulties in the cultural market, and the marginal nature of their subjects may determine this. But I believe this is genuine literature, and genuine literature will forever reside in the hearts of people.
