Features: "The Bronze Venus of Illyria" primarily tells: Before each work, there are prefaces written by the translators, which can serve as guidance and reference for reading comprehension, but that's all. They also cannot fully convey the rich intellectual connotations and various aspects of artistic aesthetics of each masterpiece. Readers have absolutely no reason to be constrained by them. Dozens of translators participated in the "Library" project, and most of them are renowned figures in China's literary and academic circles. To support the selection work of the "Library," they either contributed excellent new translations, meticulously revised previously well-received works, or recommended topics and even helped with the compilation. For them, the author expresses heartfelt gratitude. To produce this series of books, Guizhou People's Publishing House invested a significant amount of human and material resources. When these six beautifully designed, packaged, and printed new books were presented before readers, translators, and the chief editor, the vision and courage of the leaders of the publishing house undoubtedly deserve our gratitude and praise. The hard work of the literary office leaders and Comrade Chen Jiguang, who were involved in planning, reviewing, and design from the beginning, should also be acknowledged. Sincerely welcome readers, as well as colleagues and experts in the literary field, to point out the shortcomings and errors in our work and help improve the quality of the "Library" during its revision and re-publication.
