Features: Huang Jingren, styled Zhongze, was a renowned poet of the mid-Qing Dynasty. His poetic style was close to that of Li Bai, and his life was similar to that of Li He. He was known as one of the most talented and influential poets of the Qianlong era. The Liangdang Studio Anthology of Poems was not only popular at the time but also had a lasting impact on modern literature. In the 1920s and 1930s, famous writers such as Qu Qiubai, Guo Moruo, and Yu Dafu highly praised Zhongze's poetry. Especially Yu Dafu, whose famous short historical novel Cao Shi Fei featured Huang Zhongze as the protagonist, left a lasting impression on young readers of this tragic poet. As a result, numerous publications related to his research, selected annotations, and more have been produced. However, after the liberation, no books about him were published, making it difficult for readers to access the works of this renowned poet.
