Features: A.S.L. (American Sign Language) is the abbreviation for American Sign Language, which is a standardized sign language system commonly used in the United States. It is regarded as the third most widely used language in the U.S., after English and Spanish. Recent research has found that combining listening and speaking with sign language in the early stages of English learning is effective. With its tangible, audible, and meaningful nature, it helps beginners—especially children and adolescents—by engaging multiple body organs and effectively stimulating the brain's memory cortex. This enables children to learn with greater focus, heightened enthusiasm, and stronger memory retention! It is well-known that singing is one of the effective methods for introducing English learning. The interactive teaching method that combines A.S.L. with English songs breaks through traditional English teaching models, making the interaction between "teaching" and "learning" smoother, more dynamic, and more relaxed. "Children's English Follow Me and Learn" and its accompanying learning discs integrate English songs with A.S.L. interactive American English teaching. It includes 10 familiar English songs for children and adolescents, with detailed explanations of sign language words before each song, hosted by the beloved television host for children across the country, "Ji Gui Zi" Liu Chunyan. Therefore, we have compiled this collection, hoping that more children and adolescents can improve their interest in learning American English and enhance their learning efficiency through this new teaching method.
