Some articles in this part are longer, such as "Publishing and Publishing Studies," which was written by the author while compiling the volume of "China Encyclopedia of Arts & Sciences · Press & Publication." The article has a theoretical research nature. Publishing studies is a new discipline that has emerged in recent years, and the author has been quite enthusiastic about it, attempting to explore it. International co-publishing, the author has written many articles on it, but only two are included here, which are general in nature. Others are not included to avoid excessive repetition. The author has always advocated expanding overseas connections to promote international cultural exchange. The article was written in 1989. With the passage of time, especially since China has joined the International Copyright Convention, some updates to the content are needed. However, due to time constraints, this will have to be considered later. The second part of the collection consists of notes and articles written by the author during their visits abroad, serving as a bridge between the domestic and international communities. It aims to understand the publishing landscapes of various countries and regions and compare them with China's situation. This has helped broaden the author's horizons, inspire ideas, and guide their work, as the author personally experienced. These articles are now included here for reference. The third and fourth parts of the collection are book reviews and prefaces and postfaces written by the author for book and periodical publications. Developing book review work is of great significance as it mobilizes social forces to supervise book publishing and improve the quality of books.
