Daoist magic

Features: The content discussed in this book is extremely difficult to grasp. Typically, the intention and behavior of directly engaging with the divine world are referred to as mysticism. Daoist sorcery is the most mystical part of Daoism and can also be considered a representative of Chinese mysticism. When faced with the mystical, people often adopt two extreme attitudes: one is to blindly believe in its existence, and the other is to dismiss it as nonsense and deception. Although these two attitudes are completely opposite, their refusal to conduct in-depth investigation of the subject is the same. This book does not adopt such an attitude. The writing of this book is based on a wealth of materials and attempts to summarize an appropriate theoretical framework. When proposing the theoretical framework, it draws on the methods and achievements of academic circles both domestically and internationally, without merely adopting others' banners. However, it is not within the capacity of this book to address the dual weaknesses in theoretical models and material mastery in current Daoist sorcery research.
